A Zeal for Networking and Information Technology - IT Biography

One of the most exciting phrases i have ever heard, was said by the co-founder of Intel - Gordon Moore. He once said that....

" Failures are not something to be avoided. You want to have them happen as quickly as you can so you can make progress rapidly."

I like to think that i have had my share of successes and failures, and the end product in my opinion is - progress, progress toward a specific goal.

The Internet Protocol and the idea of data and human networking in general has always been an attractive concern for me. This passion came naturally as my environment became more important to me than what was in it. For example. Being in a room with a dozen technical guys and isolating and resolving the most arcane problem, is far more important than the problem solely staring me in the face, or better yet more vital than the issue itself. Having the opportunity to display technical knowledge to persons who need it, is one of my many blessings and also a good icebreaker when i communciate to the audience the first time.

The opportunity to grow and view emerging markets and ideas in information technology is both amazing and rewarding , realizing that information technology and the internet is probably the most fundamental change this world has seen since the invention of handwriting by the egyptions. As a result of this large data network we have practically elimated the physical costs of communication and succeeded in connecting people around the world through a plethora of internetworks based on IP (Internet Protocol).

My commitment to Information Technolgy is entirely influenced by my environment. It is more important for the environment of an oven to be right than the dough itself. Without the right environment there is no progress. In some cases there can even be recoil.

Progress is what moves me. What moves you?
